Anime Zero Skills & Traits

Anime Zero skills and traits affect the weapon you select, but stat-node upgrades and modifier rerolls are different actions. Use the skill tree to spend weapon tokens on available nodes. Use the trait or enchant station to inspect a passive effect and decide whether replacing it supports your next combat or progression goal.

Choose the upgrade action before spending

Attack, Critical, Defense and Speed are documented skill-tree paths. Weapon leveling supplies skill tokens, so inspect the intended weapon’s own tree and node cost before purchasing an upgrade. A new pull can have different investment from your existing kit; comparing names alone misses that difference.

Trait effects serve different purposes. Supernova and Bloodlust appear in combat build advice, while Fortune supports progression resources. Read the effect attached to the selected weapon and decide whether slow clears, repeated deaths or a resource goal is the relevant problem. Creators also call the modifier interface an enchanter. That shared terminology does not establish two independently equipped passive slots: the terminology guide explains the distinction, and the reroll guide covers selection, cost and stopping checks.
